Today at long last was the day Chris Colfer had his signing at Vromans. I had been looking forward to this for a while (for an indeterminate period of time longer than a week). Much praise to the Vromans staff. I took a picture from the line. It’s an awful picture; blurry and his head is obstructed. Ah well it wasn’t important.
Afterwards I went down to a (Nintendo) StreetPassOC event. I arrived fairly late after taking a detour. But I still managed to gather 58 street passes. I managed to finish the Nintendo Starlets puzzle; and now I have the pink puzzles for Xenoblade Chronicles, New SUPER MARIO BROS U + New SUPER LUIGI U, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team puzzles.
In Flower Town I used all of those street passes to become a master gardener. My favorite benefit of being a master gardener is having another seed box. But when you’re trying to cycle through several street pass tags, Mr. Mendel loves to talk. For some reason I really enjoy this game. Maybe because it’s impossible for me to kill the plants.
In Warrior’s Way I have accumulated 250,501 soldiers! Castle Rank is 5 because I have only conquered 8 countries. I could easily conquer more countries but I’m trying to improve my ranking amongst people I street pass. I am sadly ranked 10th. (UCervin, now[H], Ryan, matt, Mnemosy, KingOfMars, powwlita, AKIVA, and Kiet).
And then in Monster Manor I made it to a new level. Plus I have a better idea about how to upgrade my weapons. Finally.
Oh my it’s kind of late. When I got to the signing table and Chris Colfer is signing my book … I didn’t have anything to say. I didn’t think ahead of time. So a basic “Thank you for coming.” Nothing too embarrassing like “looking sexy today” or “I’ve been watching you on tv for a while and hoping you get written into relationships with the attractive men they surround you with.” … that’s pretty bad right? This is why it’s a good idea to have read a book before seeing the author so you can say something about the book. At least it sounds like a good idea to me.
